The Lenten season continues this Wednesday with our Holden Evening service at 7:00 p.m. This includes a meal served from 5:45-6:15 p.m. which is prepared by one of our teams of volunteers at St. James. Following the meal we will meet upstairs for a half hour worship service. The Fishermen of St. James will be guest speakers on the theme from Mark 1:16-17.

Season of Lent
The season of Lent is often referred to as a time for prayer, fasting, and alms giving. To give alms means donating to a need. Here at St. James, we have been trying to let people know the needs of this congregation. In the narthex, please look for out “IN KIND” pamphlets that list various needs that you may want to consider as part of your alms giving for Lent.
Easter Egg Hunt preparations
It’s almost time for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, which means we need donations of candy! Anything small and wrapped that would fit in a plastic egg is appreciated. We need egg stuffers too! Donations can be left in the narthex. Join us for the hunt and Easter worship services on April 8th!
