St. JAMES
LUTHERAN CHURCH

Christian Education at St. James loves to tell the stories from the Bible and about the love of Jesus. We do this for our children, youth, and adult members as well as offering neighborhood opportunities.

Backyard Bible Club: Welcome to St. James 2024 Backyard Bible Club - For K - 5th grade! We will meet August 5th - 9th from 6pm - 8pm. It will be a week filled with lessons and learning along with laughter and love. Please plan to join us. Our Backyard Bible Club is open to the community.

Youth: Confirmation classes are offered, as well as opportunities to be engaged during worship and other service opportunities. This year our youth are leading the Churches United Thanksgiving in July food drive for the St. James Food Pantry; collecting food and donations during the entire month of July.

Adults: Adult study classes are offered throughout the year. Christ in Our Home, a quarterly devotional publication is offered to all members. Please pick yours up in the narthex. Although not part of this committee, all women of St. James are invited to join WELCA (Women of the ELCA); this group meets monthly for bible study, fellowship and dessert.

Committee Meetings: This committee meets monthly to plan activities and look for new ways to share the love of Jesus to members and community. All members are welcome to join us.
